TFI 529 College Savings Plans

Parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle, cousin; whichever hat you wear, it’s no doubt there’s a special child in your life who’s future education is top of mind. 

Enter TIAA’s Tuition Financing Inc. (TFI), who asked our team to assess and completely reimagine how users experience the 529 plans offered across six states, each with their own unique look, messaging and requirements. Above all else, each site needed to be accessible to as many folks as possible. 

We started with strategically mapping out an entirely new experience from beginning to end. Then, we created a vast, flexible design system to meet the needs of each state while preserving the integrity of each brand look and feel, and we did all of this while meeting AA WCAG compliance across the board.
